- Producer Information - Ryumi Shōhin Co., Ltd., Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture
Ryumi Shoten Co., Ltd. is located in Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture, the home of Kishu Bincho-tan charcoal, a World Heritage city.
We handle Kishu Bincho-tan charcoal in this location, which is surrounded by nature.

It is said that the origin of Kishu Bincho-tan charcoal dates back about 1200 years, when Kobo Daishi was involved in the charcoal-making method.
During the Edo period, Nagasemon Binchuya of Tanabe City began making them and gained fame by shipping them to Edo by boat.
The Ubagashi tree, which is the raw material for Kishu Bincho-tan charcoal, is the official tree of Wakayama Prefecture.
At the same time, it is also a symbol of the trees of Tanabe City.

"The charcoal among charcoal" - fascinated by Kishu Bincho-tan, we believe that "it's a real waste to only use such wonderful Kishu Bincho-tan for charcoal-grilled dishes," and therefore we are developing products that maximize the power of this high-quality charcoal.
Living with Kishu Bincho-tan (a type of charcoal), using it for electromagnetic wave protection, water purification, in rice cookers, bathtubs, all rooms, inside cars, for plants in the garden, and even carrying it with me when I go out, I truly feel that relying on the high vibrations of Bincho-tan has been a great thing.
I hope this will be useful to you in your daily lives.
Sincerely, the shop owner, Keishiro
