Me and Shirahama-cho
Shirahama is a place where people of all kinds gather with various feelings, as you can feel the sea, mountains, and rivers nearby, and there are also amusement parks famous for pandas and hot springs. The first trip I ever took was to Shirahama, and it has been a place of memories that I have visited many times since I was a child.
Migration and Agriculture
Since moving to Shirahama, I've met many wonderful people and experienced nature, and before I knew it, a long time had passed. I started farming with the desire to share the vegetables, flowers, and the nature that thrives in this wonderful town with as many people as possible.
To the farmers who connect people and nature.
We believe that connecting people to each other and people to nature will create many clues to making a world where everyone can enjoy themselves. We will become farmers who connect people to each other and people to nature, based on agriculture. Please come and visit this place, which is full of fun!
Our Vegetables
We want to grow vegetables that are truly alive. "Creating an environment where vegetables thrive." Vibrant vegetables and flowers are full of life, just to look at. We believe in the natural power of vegetables, and while we don't do anything excessive, we always focus on creating an environment where they can grow happily and healthily. At Wakayama Shirahama Farm, we mainly grow vegetables and flowers such as lettuce, corn, fava beans, amaranth, and stock.
IORILINK Interview Report
My first impression of them was that they were a very cheerful, kind person with a lovely smile.
I felt that the vegetables grown by such a person would be sweet and delicious.
In fact, the lettuce is fresh and crisp, unlike the kind you buy at the supermarket, and it's a large, impressive head of lettuce that tastes delicious.
I tasted the corn ice cream and soup, and they were both very delicious, with the natural sweetness of the corn and a very smooth texture.
They always respond to me with such care and attention, so I'm sure they harvest each vegetable carefully during the farming process. I highly recommend the vegetables from these wonderful Wakayama Shirahama farmers!
